I just binge-watched Season 8 of Netflix’ “Formula 1: Drive to Survive”. I am hooked on the series for 3 reasons: first, I like racing, second, because of how well produced it is but, more importantly, third, the way we can see the individual characters and management styles of the principals.
On paper, they're the same guy: both live in Coral Gables' 33146, both have 7 year old luxury sedans, both have owned their homes for over 10 years. You'd think, right? Wrong! One is traditional, some could say, old-fashioned. He listens to Frank Sinatra croon "My Way". The other listens to the Sex Pistol belt out the same song... in a completely different way.
According to the Harvard Business Review, leaders need four types of thinking. Let me disagree. I think they need 5.
